Whether you’ve flown from El Prat many times or this is your first visit, it’s always worth planning your arrival at the airport in advance. If you’re flying from Barcelona T2 and travelling by car, we’ll help you understand where to go and how to drop off and collect your vehicle. With aparca&go, you can choose between our Express and Premium services, depending on the type of parking you prefer.

Before you leave: check whether you’re flying from T2

Terminal 2 has three sections: T2A, T2B and T2C. Before you leave, check your airline’s information and the flight details on Aena, as the check-in area and boarding gate may change. Keep your booking confirmation handy and allow a little extra time so you can arrive without rushing.

Which airlines usually fly from Barcelona T2?

If you’re flying with Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz Air, Norwegian, Eurowings, Transavia or Volotea, your flight will usually operate from Terminal 2 at Barcelona-El Prat. These airlines are listed as operating from T2 in Aena’s airline directory.

Terminal assignments can change for operational reasons. So before heading to the airport, confirm the terminal and section shown on your boarding pass or in the latest information from Aena. That way, you can plan your arrival better and book your preferred parking service: Express or Premium.

Barcelona T2 parking: choose between Express and Premium

Express: you park and we take you to the terminal

With aparca&go Express, you drive to our car park, park your car and board our bus, which takes you to the terminal. The journey to T2 takes approximately 5 minutes. On your return, simply head to the pick-up point between T2B and T2C (the same place where the bus drops you off on the way out), where our driver will take you back to the car park.

It’s an ideal option if you prefer to park yourself and reach the terminal in just 5 minutes, with our transfer included and no complications.

Premium: hand over your car at the terminal

With aparca&go Premium, you drive straight to the designated point in the terminal’s departures area. There, one of our agents collects your car, parks it for you and returns it to you at the agreed location when you get back. It’s a very convenient, practical option if you have luggage, are travelling with family or would rather avoid a transfer from a car park. And the price might just surprise you!

How do you collect your car when you return to T2?

Collecting your car on your return is easy too. The process differs depending on whether you’ve booked Express or Premium, so keep your booking instructions handy.

  • If you’ve booked Express

Once you’ve landed and collected your luggage, head to the pick-up point between T2B and T2C. From there, our bus will take you back to the car park so you can collect your car and continue your journey.

  • If you’ve booked Premium

With Premium, you don’t need to go to the car park to collect your car. When you return, we bring your vehicle to the agreed point at the terminal. That means you can leave the airport and head home straight from T2. It couldn’t be more convenient.

Frequently asked questions about T2 parking

Does Express serve Terminal 2?

Yes. With Express, we take you to both T1 and T2 at Barcelona-El Prat Airport. When you arrive at our car park, just tell the driver which terminal you’re heading to and we’ll take care of the transfer. It’s that easy!

Where do I catch the Express shuttle on my return?

The T2 pick-up point is between T2B and T2C. You’ll find the exact location and up-to-date directions in your booking confirmation. And if you want to be extra sure, you can ask our drivers on the way to the airport: they’ll be happy to show you where to wait when you return.

Do I need to go to the car park first with Premium?

No. With Premium, you go straight to the assigned drop-off point at the terminal, and one of our agents collects your vehicle and takes it to the car park.

How early should I arrive?

To avoid a last-minute rush, we recommend arriving at T2 at least 2 hours before a domestic flight or a flight within the Schengen Area, and 3 hours before a flight to a destination outside this area. If you’re coming by car, you should also allow for the following:

  • With aparca&go Express: we recommend arriving at our car park around 20-30 minutes before you want to be at the terminal. This gives you time to park, catch our shuttle and make the transfer, which takes approximately 5 minutes.
  • With aparca&go Premium: you can go straight to the terminal’s drop-off point, where one of our agents will collect your car. We recommend allowing around 10-15 minutes for the handover and any unexpected delays.

One last tip: if you’re checking in bags, travelling in peak season or catching an early morning flight, give yourself a little more time! It’s always better to enjoy a relaxed coffee before boarding than to start your trip running through the airport.
